A dog spay we charge $170–$350 for is quoted at $1,200+ at general practices in Manteca and Stockton. A dental cleaning we do for $600 is the same cleaning new clients tell us was quoted at $1,500 to $3,000 elsewhere. The price gap is the whole story — and it's why patients drive in from 10+ cities every week.

Most of our weekday walk-ins are from Tracy ZIPs 95376, 95377, and 95304. The clinic sits on N. Tracy Blvd. north of I-205, two minutes from the MacArthur Drive interchange.
From central Lathrop and River Islands, the drive is 10–15 minutes via I-205. A common day plan: book a spay/neuter or dental and use our 12–3 PM walk-in window the same morning for vaccines.
After Tracy, Manteca is where most of our patients come from. A routine dog spay or dental cleaning typically saves a Manteca family several hundred dollars vs. their local quote — for a 30-minute round trip.
We're the affordable option for planned procedures. For anything urgent, we recommend Pacific Veterinary Hospital (E. Fremont) or Sierra Veterinary Hospital (Hammer Lane) — both full-service hospitals.
22-mile drive, about half back roads through Mountain House before connecting to I-205. Worth the trip for spay, neuter, or dental savings.
The longest drive among our dedicated city pages, at 31 miles. Best for surgery and dental — vaccines make more sense closer to home unless you're already coming our way.

Mike started The Pet Advocate to make routine care affordable for pet owners who'd otherwise put it off. He lives in the area with his wife and three sons, a chocolate lab, a spaniel, and two cats named Rooster and June.
Also on the team: Dr. Megan Conlin, DVM, who practices alongside Mike on our spay and neuter team.
