Low Cost Dental Services
(Yes, dogs & cats need to see the dentist too)
Dental health is an important aspect of your pet’s wellness care. A healthy mouth will allow your pet to live a fuller, happier life. Good oral hygiene may also prevent your pet from developing systemic illness later in life.
The best way to provide your pet with good oral hygiene is daily brushing. Daily brushing removes plaque that builds up naturally and eventually hardens into visible tartar.
The Pet Advocate offers affordable dental procedures to give your pet access to the dental care they need.
In addition to daily brushing, we recommend a dental cleaning once a year. Dental procedures for your pet are much like a routine visit to your dentist. Your pet will be under anesthesia during the oral exam and procedure. The teeth are cleaned with an ultrasonic scaler and freshly polished. Dental radiographs are included in each dental package. These are helpful in identifying underlying disease that may not be visible during a standard oral exam. If necessary, diseased or damaged teeth may be extracted. Lastly, we provide a fluoride treatment to help support healthy enamel on your pet’s teeth.
Requirements for dental procedures:
-Pet must not be currently or previously treated for heart disease, diabetes, seizures or any systemic illness requiring continual medical treatment.
Pets must be under 14 years of age.
Please note that our veterinarian may decline a patient for a dental procedure at the time of examination as necessary for the safety of the patient.
Dental Services will require a $50 non-refundable deposit for each pet.
The deposit is due at the time of booking your appointment and will be applied to the service total the day of your pet’s procedure.
